Next Year's Met Gala Theme Announced
Next year, the MET Gala will celebrate the work of the late Karl Lagerfeld who passed on in February 2019. There will also be a major exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, entitled "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty." In a press release, the Met said the show will bring together around 150 designs that "explore the designer's stylistic language." We can't wait to see the icon Karl Lagerfeld commemorated in this world renown event under the stewardship of one of his closest friends, Anna Wintour, editor in chief of
Vogue Magazine.
